Visiting Auschwitz-Birkenau is a deeply moving and sobering experience. It’s not a “beautiful” place in the conventional sense—nor should it be. Her knowledge, sensitivity, and respectful tone were outstanding throughout the visit. She managed to convey historical facts with clarity while also capturing the emotional weight and human stories behind them. The tour itself was great, you can't complain. Anyone who wants to take a look should definitely book a tour to get a lot of peripheral information. It is highly recommended - we found it very interesting and heartbreaking at the same time. I just thought it was a shame that our tour was brought forward to 07:45 instead of 11:30 as booked. It was just decided and we had no other option such as choosing another day or a refund.

I loved that we were picked up and dropped off at our hotel- the drive was nice and the van was comfy- it was an enjoyable moving experience- our tour guide was very good and he shared a lot of information- glad we booked it
The only downside was that the explanations were a little too quick, and we had the feeling that our visit had been a little rushed, which was a pity... However, we have no regrets about having taken this tour, a place to visit at least once in your life to remember the atrocities that took place there!

Very informative tour, the whole experience was brilliant. Hotel pick up and drop off, key information sent through the day before the tour. Very friendly driver, highly recommend!
A humbling experience that was very thought provoking. The guide was excellant at conveying the life experienced as well as the horrors inflicted on the people in the camps.
Excellent organization down to the last detail, very nice driver. At Auschwitz audio-guided tour, then shuttle transfer to Birkenau. All very touching--recommended

Everything! The tour guide was amazing she shown and told us so so much! Such a sad heart breaking experience but such an eye opener
Every perdon should visit Auschwitz at least once in their lives. This was my 4th. While you could never say it was enjoyable, it is an amazing experience. I thought mybprevious experiences were better, I felt my latest trip was very stream lined. Previous visits were more rugged and got a better experience of the camps. Having said that, I understand why it has changed, because of the large numbers of visitors. But I still preferred my previous visits. I would still recommend that people visit these 2 camps.
The organization was very good. The German-speaking guide was really great. What wasn't good at all was the lunch package that we booked afterwards!!!

A superb excursion, a very nice driver, a top guide, and a great group of French people. If you want to visit Auschwitz Birkenau, I highly recommend taking the tour here. We would have liked even more time on site. Thanks for everything, the price is very reasonable for what's on offer.

It's not the kind of place you have a great time and indeed I never expected to. I put good on my review as the tour guide was amazing with knowledge and the way he respectfully presented life and deth within the camps back in the day. Some of the exhibits were heart wrenching but need to be seen as an educational reminder of how cruel history was back then. The tour was excellently organised from pick up in Krakow central to drop off the same evening. The tour was very informative and the same time heavy going to take in the misery and murder that occurred at that site. Tour guide was fantastic and could answer everyone's questions.

The tour was amazing and very educational. Our tour guide, Martin, was brilliant and couldn't do enough for us. Changing the pick up time to 4:30 am was ridiculous especially as we didn't get our tour until 10:00 am when the admission was actually free and we only payed for the English guide ( who also was excellent). Due to the pick up time change to 4:30 am we had to get a taxi as the pick up was a 30 minute walk from our accommodation.
The guide was great, he was very clear about everything, and the whole visit was very efficient (even though there were a lot of people, we didn't notice it at any time).

The guide was kind to us, full of energy and very considerate, giving us several clear instructions before leaving us with the guides or on our own. Right from the start, we were given stickers to stick on our clothes to help us find our way around. The best part was the guided tour in Wieliczka, the guide was really good and spoke English well. Also our driver for the day, Michal, was very nice and helpful the whole day.
Despite a last-minute schedule change (departure delayed by 1 hour and morning and afternoon tours reversed), organization was excellent and the day ran smoothly. Communication via a Whatsapp loop and the timing of breaks (important in an 11-hour day!) contributed to this. We had ordered lunch boxes the day before, which were delivered to us as we boarded the coach in the morning. The coach was also very clean and comfortable. Our guide literally lived his comments and explanations, which made the visits very moving in these places with a heavy past. Frankly, we recommend it. Bravo

I really enjoyed the excursion, they were punctual and gave advance notice of the change of schedule, via WhatsApp and email. We were able to visit two places on the same day, which was fantastic! Things to improve: we couldn't understand the guide very well, his English wasn't clear. There was no time for lunch, we had 10-minute breaks which we had to manage: between going to the toilet and/or having a snack. On the way back they dropped us off at the agreed place, but suggested several times that we could get off at a previous stop and walk back, it was raining, so we chose not to accept the suggestion. Overall, we were happy with our choice, there were no major problems, only aspects to improve. The tour was great.

The visit of such an important historical place is worth it and the salt mine is spectacular and I recommend it 100%. The departure at 5:20am with no option to have breakfast on the way was a bad experience. The entrance to Auswitchz was very messy with only two people at the entrance. They should improve for the amount of visitors.

Great guide and simple ticket process
I would avoid head out if possible! We got a confirmation email that stated that the departure window was 7:30-10 am and that the exact pick-up time would be confirmed a day before. A day before we got a message that the pick-up time would be 5:30!!! Somewhere in the site it stated that the pick-up times may vary and the support team, which took a month to answer my message (!!), thought that this was enough to inform the customer. The new departure time was two hours before the departure window stated in the email and I think that I’m not the only one who thinks this was too early. It was also too late to change plans for us, just a day before! I don't understand why in this case the departure window was gone in the beginning if it's completely disregarded. Second problem was that even with this outrageously early departure time there was still a lot of queuing and the schedule was tight due to that. We didn’t have time for bathroom or food after Auschwitz and were told that there would be a longer break after Birkenau. The longer break for walking to the bus, getting a snack and toilets was 15 minutes, which was not enough and me and my friend had a terrible headache for the rest of the day and couldn’t do anything else in the evening after the trip. Thirdly, we were told that the trip would be 10,5-11 hours and even with such an early start to a day, the whole trip took 12 hours. There was also something positive: the guide in the concentration camps was great and it was really humbling to get to visit the camps.
The company canceled my tour, disrupting my travel itinerary. Furthermore, I still haven't received my money back, increasing my costs even further.
Our tour was cancelled two hours before the start.
Auschwitz-Birkenau opportunity not to be missed. Well prepared guide and very informative. Provided transport from hotel excellent. Salt Mines interesting but at times a bit lengthy. Exit a bit confusing. Provided transport to hotel excellent.
Renata was our fantastic chaffeur to and from Krakow and made every effort to get is there safely and on time. Entrance lines were seemless. One recommendation is that the driver for the Salt Mine excursion (different to Renata), collects people from the actual exit of the Salt Mine and folks are not expected to find the parking lot (which is very confusing). Otherwise an awesome day spent, thank you!
At birkenau we barely had time to get in, a brief explanation, and out we went. Twenty minutes, even less, compared to the one hour wait. The bus came by an hour earlier than expected precisely to avoid standing in line, which was an hour and a half in the cold on site anyway. However, Daniel was supportive.

The trip we booked was a tour to Auschwitz. It was a very worthwhile visit. The good things were in the first place to be and to know this terrible episode of history and secondly the guide Susana who was very professional with all clarity, kindness and with a lot of empathy gave us information about the organization and also about the subject related to Auschwitz. Last but not least the transfer on board the bus, which was also comfortable and conducted in a very orderly manner. We were staying in Krakow. The tour had at least three meeting points. We chose one of the stops near our lodging. The bus arrived on time and from there we went to Auschwitz. The return trip also went according to plan. Why didn't I give the tour a thumbs up? Because a few hours before the reservation they changed the boarding and departure time from 6.00 am to 3:35 am. That was a drastic change! And with no other option. Accepting the change and with a bit of mistrust we were fortunate to realize that other travelers were in our situation. The bus arrived for us at 3:35 o'clock and we arrived at 5:55 in Auschwitz. Being there the wait is long. and our guided tour (by the Auschwitz Museum and Memorial) started until 10:00 am! The memorial guide was not as eloquent or as well organized as the bus guide but she did her job. Lastly it is worth mentioning that I booked the tour in English because I no longer had a choice as I had no more time, but it can be done in another language. All in all with a little bit of everything it was more good than bad. If you are in Krakow this trip to Auschwitz is highly recommended!

So interesting to learn about such a significant and historic world event that should never be forgotten. George was prompt and on-time to collect us in the morning and Susana had superb knowledge of history and instructions were simple and clear.
Incredible service. Our driver was punctual and very knowledgeable. Our guide at Auschwitz was amazing and her knowledge of the site and the history was out of this world. A humbling experience but would definitely recommend
The tour was excellent but very disappointed with the 4.45am start as the fast track tickets are just a gimmick and not real. We all had to queue for 2 hours like everyone else.
Very well organised. We had an issue with one of the tickets provided as it had the wrong name. The tour leader sorted it very quickly and made sure we were able to enter the museum. Great experience and very helpful!
The night before our 6am meet up we got a message saying that we didn't have tickets booked anymore online except for the bus and that our pick up time was changed to 4.35am. We then queued from 6.25am to 9am just to buy tickets. And our tour didn't start until 1.30pm. The purpose of booking a tour that promises fast track entry to beat the queue is to receive that. And unfortunately our Auschwitz guide rushed us through the tour. We didn't really get the opportunity to spend time inside to take it all in. It was disappointing.
good agreement regarding transportation. Very competent guide, who spoke in a clear and understandable Enges. It was an emotional visit.

Pick-up at hotel. The guide took care of the tickets. The tour was in French, but the bus guide spoke English, which is a real shame if you don't understand it well.

The pick-up from a previously communicated meeting point - it is actually advertised as pick-up from the hotel, although the bus is apparently not allowed to drive anywhere in the Old Town - was OK. The tour was very professional, and the guide repeatedly pointed out how personally affected she was because relatives of hers were also in the camp. However, the fact that the bus driver simply threw the group out of the bus in the pouring rain in an area not normally visited by tourists was an imposition.

our guide the tour sound like a movie narrator… He was excellent and really engaging and I'm probably spelling his name wrong but it was something like Matthias.
To change the pick up time from 9am to 6am at less than 18 hours notice is unacceptable. No reason given and it was not helpful at all. Our guide and excursion was fine - although the minibus was very cramped & full.
Great driver and a very cool guide. The storytelling was perfect in spire of the tragic story
My brother and I paid for an English speaking guide and were told when picked up by the hotel that "no English speaking guides" would be available on the day of our visit (10 Oct 2024) to Auschwitz (booking id 21034794 - Partner ref # COM-T7969283). Everyone in our group was complaining, but the driver just told everyone to contact the office regarding the issue and a credit should be applied to our credit card for the lack of a guide. Essentially we wandered around the sites without any real understanding what we were looking at and wasted a lot of time. We should have been given a credit on our booking to which we had already paid AUD $294 in full on-line. This is the 2nd time i have sent this complaint and I am yet to hear back from anyone regarding the matter. I have since read many reviews regarding this tour and others have experienced similar problems. I await a response this time to what credit I will receive?? regards Terence Dwyer
The tour of Auschwitz was very emotional and very well organised. However on our arrival at Auschwitz at 08.30hrs we were informed by our driver that our tour was not until 11.00hrs and we should go to Birkenbau. He took us to Birkenbau and left us to look around by ourselves with no tour guide. We were then collected and returned for our 11.00hrs tour. This was not what we had booked. We were walking blindly around Birkenbau gathering information from signs. The guide would have provided a far better insight and detailed knowledge. I know this as the guide that took us around Auschwitz was excellent and he was due to be our guide as Birkenbau.
Everything was great from start to finish. Our driver Norbert was fantastic and our tour guide was great and very good explaining everything on the tour
It was well organized. I know that you have no control over it but you need a lot more time than 2 1/2 hours to take it all in. The guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. I wish I could have had more time at certain parts to reflect.
Seemed like bait and switch. Time changed by almost four hours and did not have small group tour signed up for. You need to do a better job screening your providers. Tour in Auschwitz 1 seemed rushed.
We had expected longer time to explore the venue. We felt the guide rushed the experience with little or no time to read the information boards or take photos. The older and slower members of the group were left behind and missed some of his commentary.
Damien was a great driver and was wonderful getting us through the queues. He was instrumental in getting us a fast lunch between Camp 1 and Birkenau
The entire experience from pickup/ drop to/ from Auschwitz tour was very good. Our driver Greg was very humble and good natured and made the journey smooth. He was patient and also provide information about the whereabouts of the city. Our English Tour guide was very nice orator. It was very informative and interesting tour. She was good with taking up questions and answered them. Overall the experience was good for us.
The tour was very well run. Our guide was very friendly and was able to give us as much information as possible. He also gave us his opinion, which was very important for us as non-Polish citizens. Auschwitz is definitely a must-see in everyone's life. But once is enough. After that you have many open questions for yourself, for the future of our world. We would like to thank everyone who organized our tour and especially our guide.

We booked a small group tour and this was changed at the last minute. We found the venue far too crowded. Movement in some buildings was too congested and wasn't respectful to the sadness of the storyline. Our guide was on a route March and didn't take account of us who had mobility issues. That was why we chose a small group. Not happy.
Inclusions
The pickup was earlier than originally advised (6.20am instead of 8.00am) but it was all on time. We arrived to be met by a guide who took us round Auschwitz 1 and Auschwitz- Birkenau. The guide was very informative and was able to answer all sorts of questions relating to the visit. A guided tour is a great idea but it is well worth reading up on the subject before going.
