Auschwitz Guided Tours

Even though the tour was brought forward from 11 a.m. to 8 a.m., the organization was very good overall. Everything went smoothly. Our tour guide spoke very good German and explained a lot and also answered questions. The 3:30h tour goes by quickly and is a bit superficial. There is little time to look at things in peace. You would have to book one of the longer tours for that. Overall, it was a very good experience (despite all the terrible things we saw and heard)

The guide. She was awesome. Her voice tone, her knowledge and sentimental soul added a lot to this trip. Everyone should go and see what happened in the history. Everyone should feel and understand.

This is a sensitive camp. The guide was very professional. He explained everything very clearly. The meeting point and all the information was presented very clearly.

Visiting Auschwitz-Birkenau is a deeply moving and sobering experience. It’s not a “beautiful” place in the conventional sense—nor should it be. It is a place that confronts us with the darkest chapters of human history, and reminds us of the unimaginable suffering endured by millions. Our tour was exceptionally well guided by Magdalena m. Her knowledge, sensitivity, and respectful tone were outstanding throughout the visit. She managed to convey historical facts with clarity while also capturing the emotional weight and human stories behind them. Magdalena struck the perfect balance between education and empathy—never overstepping the line into dramatization, but also never letting the gravity of the place fade. This is not a tour you “enjoy” in the traditional sense. It is a tour you carry with you. Thanks to Magdalena, we left not only informed, but emotionally connected to what we had witnessed. Her guidance made all the difference.

The tour itself was great, you can't complain. Anyone who wants to take a look should definitely book a tour to get a lot of peripheral information. It is highly recommended - we found it very interesting and heartbreaking at the same time. I just thought it was a shame that our tour was brought forward to 07:45 instead of 11:30 as booked. It was just decided and we had no other option such as choosing another day or a refund.

It's a unique experience even if the place is more than touristy and we had to leave at 4:30 in the morning. It's something to do in your life.

It was very fast paced, so not leaving a lot of time looking at the individual showcases. But overall it was very informative and impactful

The guide, Blessed, in English, clear and precise and also emotionally involved since we are talking about monuments that are not playgrounds but actual cemeteries... I must say that the system however nni Piave. There is an overexploitation of the two poles, Auschwitz and Birkenau. You can visit them, unless you book 90 days in advance, only by guided tour. Expensive...too bad. the spirit of the holocaust should not allow the money machine created, and perhaps tolerated given the business it moves, to profit. Noni likes ... And then I like to stop, think, nn possible in the timed tour ... too bad

The visit to the mine was not with the company's guide, not only did he not accompany us, but he gave the group the opportunity to decide whether to visit the museum, which was included and should have been done (whoever did not want to wait at the door). In short, the guide of the company that accompanies you to the Mine only does that and worries about conditioning the group not to visit the museum so they can leave early. I would not hire him again.

We really liked the transportation, the driver was nice and very kind, as well as our tour guide. She was very friendly. What we didn't like was the fact that we had to wait to the lines for a long time. We started the tour 2 hours earlier than we were scheduled and we had to wait to the queues.

The guide was kind to us, full of energy and very considerate, giving us several clear instructions before leaving us with the guides or on our own. Right from the start, we were given stickers to stick on our clothes to help us find our way around. The guides at Auschwitz-Birkenau and Wieliczka were friendly, experienced and answered all our questions.

The best part was the guided tour in Wieliczka, the guide was really good and spoke English well. Also our driver for the day, Michal, was very nice and helpful the whole day.

I would avoid head out if possible! We got a confirmation email that stated that the departure window was 7:30-10 am and that the exact pick-up time would be confirmed a day before. A day before we got a message that the pick-up time would be 5:30!!! Somewhere in the site it stated that the pick-up times may vary and the support team, which took a month to answer my message (!!), thought that this was enough to inform the customer. The new departure time was two hours before the departure window stated in the email and I think that I’m not the only one who thinks this was too early. It was also too late to change plans for us, just a day before! I don't understand why in this case the departure window was gone in the beginning if it's completely disregarded. Second problem was that even with this outrageously early departure time there was still a lot of queuing and the schedule was tight due to that. We didn’t have time for bathroom or food after Auschwitz and were told that there would be a longer break after Birkenau. The longer break for walking to the bus, getting a snack and toilets was 15 minutes, which was not enough and me and my friend had a terrible headache for the rest of the day and couldn’t do anything else in the evening after the trip. Thirdly, we were told that the trip would be 10,5-11 hours and even with such an early start to a day, the whole trip took 12 hours. There was also something positive: the guide in the concentration camps was great and it was really humbling to get to visit the camps.

The company canceled my tour, disrupting my travel itinerary. Furthermore, I still haven't received my money back, increasing my costs even further.

Despite a last-minute schedule change (departure delayed by 1 hour and morning and afternoon tours reversed), organization was excellent and the day ran smoothly. Communication via a Whatsapp loop and the timing of breaks (important in an 11-hour day!) contributed to this. We had ordered lunch boxes the day before, which were delivered to us as we boarded the coach in the morning. The coach was also very clean and comfortable. Our guide literally lived his comments and explanations, which made the visits very moving in these places with a heavy past. Frankly, we recommend it. Bravo

I really enjoyed the excursion, they were punctual and gave advance notice of the change of schedule, via WhatsApp and email. We were able to visit two places on the same day, which was fantastic! Things to improve: we couldn't understand the guide very well, his English wasn't clear. There was no time for lunch, we had 10-minute breaks which we had to manage: between going to the toilet and/or having a snack. On the way back they dropped us off at the agreed place, but suggested several times that we could get off at a previous stop and walk back, it was raining, so we chose not to accept the suggestion. Overall, we were happy with our choice, there were no major problems, only aspects to improve. The tour was great.

The visit of such an important historical place is worth it and the salt mine is spectacular and I recommend it 100%. The departure at 5:20am with no option to have breakfast on the way was a bad experience. The entrance to Auswitchz was very messy with only two people at the entrance. They should improve for the amount of visitors.

Renata was our fantastic chaffeur to and from Krakow and made every effort to get is there safely and on time. Entrance lines were seemless. One recommendation is that the driver for the Salt Mine excursion (different to Renata), collects people from the actual exit of the Salt Mine and folks are not expected to find the parking lot (which is very confusing). Otherwise an awesome day spent, thank you!

The transportation service was very efficient, kind and reliable. The guided tour was very interesting, although a bit hurried. The last person in the group often could not hear from the headphones what the fuida was saying.

Hello, they changed our pick up time. The carriage we were transported in was cramped and uncomfortable. The tour was very fast through the concentration camps. The guide was very adequate and the information was interesting. The truth is that I expected more for the price paid.

The tour to Auschwitz was good, I just think it lacked more information. The tour to Schindler's factory was very good because it explains the Second World War from what Poland experienced. Very interesting

Schindler’s List was a deeply moving and harrowing film. What I appreciated most was how it didn’t shy away from the brutality of the Holocaust, yet still managed to highlight the strength of the human spirit.

Tour of Auschwitz camp superb, very interesting and moving. For Schindler's factory, it was difficult to understand the guide and the theme was more focused on the Second World War than on the character himself.

I had booked assuming to be picked up at hotel, later found out that our hotel did not meet the pickup Point! A lot of arranging and then went to Ausschitz myself! Because bus did not come to pick us up, we were taken to Birkenau but then walked back because bus could not bring us back, we could go to Krakow but then on our own? Or on own transport there and back, all in all we made extra costs (own transport and parking).

The name of the Tour a visit to the Schindler factory is not correct. We did not see a factory only the story about the Poles during the war. The rooms are too small or the groups too large did not get anything from the explanations. Very disappointing if you expect to visit the factory. Misleading is the conclusion

Excellent organization and ability to solve the needs of the day very quickly. The tour to Aushwitz-Birkenau was emotionally impactful and reflective-everyone at least once in their life should have this experience

The guide's performance was excellent, but my only regret was that the tour was so quick, we had to make room for another group arriving quickly, and we didn't have time to linger and read the panels and absorb the nobility of the events through the realistic reconstructions.

Although my trip to Auschwith started with an urgent message about change of pick-up point, the bus was very punctual on the time set. Driver was nice, polite and drove carefuly, explaining clearly to the visitors what we were going to do. In the museum our guide was excellent. He explained in excellent english every detail concerning the site, giving a lot of historical and social information. Very kind and well prepared to answer serveral questions. The general impression was very posiive. Everything was well organized and serious giving the adecuate respect to the importance of such an important place for mankind. Thank yoy very much indeed.

Amazing experience, very emotional and something that everyone should do in their lifetime to remember the past horrors that took place. The tours was very well organised from pick up to drop off thanks to our driver Kamil, there was no waiting in line at Auschwitz. The guide was very informative and detailed, I found the tour to be an excellent pace. Highly reccomend this tour for anyone wanting to visit Auschwitz!

The truth is that visiting Auschwitz is a very worthwhile experience; however, DO NOT BOOK THE TOUR THROUGH HEADOUT. They work with a company called SUPER KRAKOW TOURS, which canceled our excursion one day before without any explanation, and HEADOUT took no responsibility nor offered me any solution. Since I had come to Poland solely to visit the concentration camp, I had to look for another tour, which was very difficult to find. As no tours departed from Warsaw, I had to buy a bus ticket to get to Krakow. Then, the tour time was changed twice to early morning hours, forcing me to change my bus schedule and book a hotel for the night. Of course, no one covered these extra expenses. The company ONLY HANDLES THE TRANSPORT to Auschwitz. Once we arrived, we had to stand in line to buy the tickets, and the guide provided belonged to the site itself. Honestly, it’s better to buy the tickets through the official Auschwitz website and find your own way to get there without a tour.

Our names were not known to the tour guide and because of this we could not ride with the bus. Eventually we boarded another bus of SUPER KRAKOW TEAM and were able to ride along to the final destination. In the meantime during the trip to the final destination, the team sorted things out and we finally got the tickets upon arrival at the location. So all's well that ends well but was exciting.

I liked the whole organization of the tour, pick up times, explanations, entrance to the fields and above all the professionalism of the guide Ana. A ten!!!!

We got timely informed about pick-up times (was 40mjn earlier than the schedule) so helped planning our visit. The bus was very good with air conditioning and comfortable seats. The guide was very well informed and the entire tour went very well. It was heart wrenching to hear and be at the place where such inhumane things happened.

The driver,Piotr, was very nice, we were satisfied with the transportation to and from Auschwitz and in between to camp Birkenau.

So well organised, incredibly helpful. I received contact as soon as I arrived in Poland and the team kept me up to date with collection time and points, drivers name and reg plate, offer of a very reasonably priced lunch which was delicious and excellent value for money and were just so helpful. The tour itself was very interesting, what I didn't like at all is that they changed the departure time from 8 am to 5:20 am and they told me about the change when I could no longer change the date of the tour.

Basically great organization, everything went smoothly from start to finish. The guide was really great, immensely knowledgeable and always open to questions. Only the driver was borderline for us... the driving style was like a rally driver and the overtaking maneuvers left us breathless... that's not necessary...

We had to be ready at 5 a.m. instead of 6 a.m., the ticket was not already available and we still had to queue at the ticket office. In addition, the seats on the bus were too narrow for tall people. However, the tour guides were very nice.

Everything ! The fact that they pick you up at the bus and drop you back is amazing, and the explanation is also quite good, although there were times when a little more volume would have been nice, but overall great, it's worth it.
